Biography of L. Mazelʹ

L. Mazelʹ (* 26. May 1907 in Königsberg; † 9. October 2000 in Moscow) was a musicologist. He was 93 years old. His education included Moscow Conservatory and Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow Imperial University. He worked at Moscow Conservatory. He received 4 awards, including Honored art worker of the Russian Federation, Order of the Red Banner of Labour. He was buried at Donskoe cemetery.
