Lajos Alföldi (* 9. March 1927 in Miskolc; † 31. October 2021 in Szeged) was a hungarian bacteriologist, researcher, professor, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He was 94 years old. He studied at Albert Szent-Györgyi University of Medicine. He was awarded the State Award of the People's Republic of Hungary.
