Biography of Lajos Jánossy

Lajos Jánossy (* 2. March 1912 in Budapest; † 2. March 1978 in Budapest) was an ungarischer Physiker, Astrophysiker und Mathematiker. He was 66 years old. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). He worked at Eötvös Loránd University, Birkbeck, University of London, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and Wigner Research Centre for Physics. He was awarded the Kossuth Prize. He was buried at Fiume Road Graveyard.
