Lee Kuan Yew (* 16. September 1923 in Singapore; † 23. March 2015 in Singapore General Hospital) was a 1st Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore. He was 91 years old. He was married to Kwa Geok Choo. His education included Fitzwilliam College, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Cambridge, Raffles Institution, National University of Singapore and University of London. His faith was agnosticism. He received 10 awards, including Order of Honour, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium.
