Biography of Leila Abaschidse

Leila Abashidze (* 1. August 1929 in Tbilisi; † 8. April 2018 in Tbilisi) was a georgian actress, film director, and writer. She was 88 years old. She studied at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. Her awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour and People's artist of the Georgian SSR. Her cause of death was stroke. She was buried at Saburtalo Pantheon.
