Biography of Leo Svemps

Leo Svemps (* 7. July 1897 in Livonia Governorate; † 7. March 1975 in Riga) was a latvian artist and educator. He was 77 years old. He studied at University of Latvia. He worked at Art Academy of Latvia. He received 4 awards, including Order of Lenin, People's Painter of the USSR. He was buried at Rainis Cemetery.
