Biography of Leon Festinger

Leon Festinger (* 8. May 1919 in Brooklyn; † 11. February 1989 in New York City) was an uS-amerikanischer Sozialpsychologe. He was 69 years old. His education included City College of New York and University of Iowa. He worked at University of Michigan and University of Minnesota. His faith was atheism. He was awarded the APA Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to Psychology. His cause of death was cancer.
