Léon Moret (* 4. July 1890 in Annecy; † 22. November 1972 in Grenoble) was a french geologist. He was 82 years old. His education included Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 and University of Strasbourg. He worked at Service géologique national. He received 8 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
