Biography of Leonard Bernstein

Leonard Bernstein (* 25. August 1918 in Lawrence; † 14. October 1990 in New York City) was an uS-amerikanischer Komponist, Dirigent und Pianist. He was 72 years old. He was married to Felicia Montealegre. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Harvard University, Curtis Institute of Music and Eliot House. He worked at Brandeis University. He received 10 awards, including Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ring of Honour of the City of Vienna. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery.
