Leonid Cherkassky (* 2. June 1925 in Cherkasy; † 18. October 2003 in Ra'anana) was an israeli writer. He was 78 years old. He studied at Military Institute of the USSR Ministry of Defence. He worked at Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
