Biography of Leonid Nowytschenko

Leonid Nowytschenko (* 31. March 1914 in Rusanivka; † 22. November 1996 in Kyiv) was an ukrainischer Literaturkritiker und Philologe. He was 82 years old. He studied at Faculty of Philology of the State University of Kyiv. He worked at T.H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He received 7 awards, including Order of Friendship of Peoples, Order of the Red Star. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
