Biography of Leopold Gegenbauer

Leopold Gegenbauer (* 2. February 1849 in Asperhofen; † 3. June 1903 in Gießhübl) was a österreichischer Mathematiker. He was 54 years old. He was married to Helene Gegenbauer. His education included University of Vienna and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He worked at University of Vienna, University of Innsbruck and Chernivtsi University. He was buried at Kaiserebersdorfer Friedhof.
