Biography of Lev Stepanovič Šaumjan

Lev Stepanovič Šaumjan (* 25. April 1904 in Tbilisi; † 24. May 1971 in Moscow) was a soviet scholar. He was 67 years old. His education included Iakov Sverdlov Communist University and Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU. He worked at Ուրալսկի ռաբոչի and The Great Russian Encyclopedia. His awards include Order of Lenin and Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
