Biography of Lew Mitrofanowitsch Barkow

Lew Mitrofanowitsch Barkow (* 24. October 1928 in Moscow; † 9. February 2013 in Novosibirsk) was a russischer Physiker. He was 84 years old. His education included Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at National Research Centre Kurchatov Institute, Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics and Novosibirsk State University. He received 5 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order of the October Revolution. He was buried at Yuzhnoye Cemetery.
