Biography of Ljudmila Markowna Gurtschenko

Lyudmila Gurchenko (* 12. November 1935 in Kharkiv; † 30. March 2011 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian theater and film actress, singer, composer, director (1935—2011). She was 75 years old. She was married to Iossif Dawydowitsch Kobson and Wassili Ordynski. She studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. She received 10 awards, including People's Artist of the USSR, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class. Her cause of death was cardiovascular disease. She was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
