Biography of Louis Halphen

Louis Halphen (* 4. February 1880 in 2nd arrondissement of Paris; † 7. October 1950 in Paris) was a französischer Historiker. He was 70 years old. He was married to Germaine Weill. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included École des chartes, Lycée Hoche and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at University of Paris, École pratique des hautes études and French School of Rome. He received 5 awards, including prix Gobert, Officer of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
