Louis Néel (* 22. November 1904 in 3rd arrondissement of Lyon; † 17. November 2000 in Brive-la-Gaillarde) was a french physicist. He was 95 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, lycée du Parc, Science Faculty of Paris and Lycée Saint-Louis. He received 10 awards, including CNRS Gold medal, Nobel Prize in Physics.
