Lovis Corinth (* 21. July 1858 in Gvardeysk; † 17. July 1925 in Zandvoort) was a deutscher Maler. He was 66 years old. He was married to Charlotte Berend-Corinth. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His education included Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, Académie Julian, Kneiphof Gymnasium and Art Academy Königsberg. He worked at Berlin University of the Arts. He was awarded the honorary doctor of the University of Königsberg. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Südwestkirchhof Stahnsdorf.
