Biography of Ludwig Heilmeyer

Ludwig Heilmeyer (* 6. March 1899 in Munich; † 6. September 1969 in Desenzano del Garda) was a deutscher Internist. He was 70 years old. He studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He worked at University of Freiburg, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Ulm University. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, honorary doctor of the University of Vienna and Robert Koch Prize.
