Biography of Machteld Mellink

Machteld Mellink (* 26. October 1917 in Amsterdam; † 23. February 2006 in Haverford) was a niederländisch-US-amerikanische Vorderasiatische Archäologin. She was 88 years old. Her education included Utrecht University and University of Amsterdam. She worked at Bryn Mawr College. Her awards include Gold Medal of the Archaeological Institute of America, honorary degree and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
