Biography of Manfred Mayrhofer

Manfred Mayrhofer (* 26. September 1926 in Linz; † 31. October 2011 in Vienna) was a österreichischer Indogermanist. He was 85 years old. He studied at University of Graz. He worked at University of Vienna, University of Würzburg and Saarland University. He received 4 awards, including Wilhelm Hartel Prize, Fellow of the British Academy.
