Biography of Maria Shostakovich

Maria Shostakovich (* 30. October 1903 in Saint Petersburg; † 6. October 1973 in Saint Petersburg) was a pianist. She was 69 years old. She was married to Wsewolod Konstantinowitsch Freedericksz. She worked at Saint Petersburg Conservatory. She was awarded the Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad". She was buried at Novo-Volkovskoe cemetery.
