Biography of Marie-Jeanne Durry

Marie-Jeanne Durry (* 25. March 1901 in 10ᵗʰ arrondissement of Paris; † 2. June 1980 in 4th arrondissement of Paris) was a französische Romanistin und Dichterin. She was 79 years old. She was married to Marcel Durry. Her education included Faculty of Arts of Paris and Lycée Lamartine. She worked at Faculty of Arts of Paris, University of Caen Normandy, Lycée français Chateaubriand and École normale supérieure de jeunes filles. She received 4 awards, including Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Grand Prix de Poésie. She was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
