Biography of Marietta Blau

Marietta Blau (* 29. April 1894 in Vienna; † 27. January 1970 in Vienna) was a österreichische Physikerin. She was 75 years old. She studied at University of Vienna. She worked at National Polytechnic Institute, Universidad Vasco de Quiroga, Columbia University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, University of Miami, Miami University, Goethe University Frankfurt and Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. She received 4 awards, including Erwin Schrödinger Prize, Lieben Prize. Her cause of death was cancer.
