Biography of Mario Góngora

Mario Góngora (* 22. June 1915 in Santiago; † 18. November 1985 in Santiago) was a chilenischer Schriftsteller und Historiker. He was 70 years old. His education included Colegio San Agustín, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Instituto Pedagógico and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile Institute of History, University of Chile, University of Cologne, University of Oxford and Yale University. His awards include Chilean National History Award and Guggenheim Fellowship.
