Biography of Mario Praz

Mario Praz (* 6. September 1896 in Rome; † 23. March 1982 in Rome) was an italienischer Literaturwissenschaftler und Kunsthistoriker. He was 85 years old. He was married to Vivyan Leonora Eyles. His education included University of Bologna and University of Florence. He worked at Sapienza University of Rome and University of Manchester. He received 6 awards, including Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Serena Medal.
