Martin Noth (* 3. August 1902 in Dresden; † 30. May 1968 in Shivta) was a deutscher protestantischer Theologe. He was 65 years old. His education included Leipzig University, University of Rostock and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. He worked at University of Tübingen, University of Bonn, University of Hamburg, University of Greifswald, University of Göttingen and German Protestant Institute. His faith was Lutheranism. His awards include honorary doctorate of Lund University and Burkitt Medal. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Bethlehem.
