Biography
Mary Douglas (* 1848 in Sanremo; † May 1931 in London) was a british anthropologist. She was 83 years old. She was married to James Alexandre Thomas Douglas. She had at least 1 child (1 son). Her education included St Anne's College, Woldingham School and University of Oxford. Her awards include John Desmond Bernal Prize, Fellow of the British Academy and Huxley Memorial Medal. Her cause of death was cancer.
