Biography of Mary Ryan

Mary Ryan (* 14. September 1873 in Cork; † 16. June 1961 in Cork) was a first woman in Ireland or Great Britain to be a professor at a university. She was 87 years old. Her education included University College Cork and St. Angela's College, Cork. She worked at University College Cork. She was awarded the Legion of Honour.
