Biography of Masaki Kobayashi

Masaki Kobayashi (* 14. February 1916 in Otaru; † 4. October 1996 in Tokyo) was a japanischer Drehbuchautor und Regisseur. He was 80 years old. His education included Waseda University and Hokkaido Otaru Choryo High school. His awards include Jury Prize, Medal with Purple Ribbon and Mainichi Film Award for Best Director. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
