Biography of Maurice Oldfield

Maurice Oldfield (* 16. November 1915 in Youlgrave; † 11. March 1981 in London) was a chief of the SIS. He was 65 years old. He studied at Victoria University of Manchester. He worked at Secret Intelligence Service, Security Intelligence Middle East, Intelligence Corps and All Souls College. He received 5 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George. He was buried at Derbyshire.
