Maurice Wilkins (* December 15, 1916 in Pongaroa; † October 5, 2004 in Blackheath) was a new Zealand-born English physicist and biologist. He was 87 years old. He was married to Patricia Ann Chidgey and Ruth Wilkins. His education included University of Cambridge, University of Birmingham, King Edward's School and St John's College. He received 5 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Fellow of the Royal Society.
