Biography of Max Butting

Max Butting (* 6. October 1888 in Berlin; † 13. July 1976 in Berlin) was a deutscher Komponist. He was 87 years old. He studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He worked at Berlin University of the Arts. His awards include Patriotic Order of Merit in Gold, National Prize of East Germany and Honorary doctor of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
