Biography
Max Perutz (* May 19, 1914 in Vienna; † February 6, 2002 in Cambridge) was an austrian-born British molecular biologist. He was 87 years old. His education included Peterhouse, University of Vienna, University of Cambridge and Theresianum. He received 9 awards, including Copley Medal, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Ascension Parish Burial Ground.
