Biography of Max Gluckman

Max Gluckman (* 26. January 1911 in Johannesburg; † 13. April 1975 in Jerusalem) was a südafrikanischer Ethnosoziologe. He was 64 years old. He was married to Mary Gluckman. He studied at Exeter College. He worked at University of Manchester and Victoria University of Manchester. His awards include Fellow of the British Academy and Rhodes Scholarship.
