Biography of Max Jammer

Max Jammer (* 13. April 1915 in Berlin; † 18. December 2010 in Jerusalem) was an israelischer Wissenschaftshistoriker. He was 95 years old. His education included Hebrew University of Jerusalem and University of Vienna. He worked at Princeton University, Harvard University, Boston University, Bar-Ilan University, University of Oklahoma and University of Amsterdam. His awards include Israel Prize, Abraham Pais Prize for History of Physics and The EMET Prize for Art, Science and Culture. He was buried at Sanhedria Cemetery.
