Biography of Max Newman

Max Newman (* 7. February 1897 in London; † 22. February 1984 in Comberton) was a britischer Mathematiker und Kryptologe. He was 87 years old. He was married to Margaret Leathes and Lyn Irvine. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included St John's College and City of London School. He worked at Victoria University of Manchester, St John's College and Bletchley Park.
