Biography of Max van der Stoel

Max van der Stoel (* 3. August 1924 in Voorschoten; † 23. April 2011 in The Hague) was a dutch politician. He was 86 years old. His education included Leiden University and Stedelijk Gymnasium Leiden. He received 9 awards, including Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, 2nd class, Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George. His cause of death was disease.
