Michael Smith (* April 26, 1932 in Blackpool; † October 4, 2000 in Vancouver) was a canadian Nobel laureate in chemistry. He was 68 years old. His education included University of Manchester and Arnold School. His faith was atheism. He received 7 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
