British-born New Zealand chemist and water quality expert (1930–2020)
Michael Taylor (* 5. July 1930 in Essex; † 3. August 2020 in Waikanae) was a british-born New Zealand chemist and water quality expert. He was 90 years old. His education included Woolwich Polytechnic and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He worked at Ministry of Health, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Auckland Regional Authority, Cawthron Institute and Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. He was awarded the Companion of the Queen's Service Order.
