Mikhail Yuryev (* 24. April 1918 in Telenești; † 7. September 1990 in Moscow) was a soviet orientalist. He was 72 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of History. He worked at MSU The Institute of Asian and African Studies. His awards include Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class and Medal "For Battle Merit". He was buried at Rogozhskoye Cemetery.
