Biography of Miroslav Fiedler

Miroslav Fiedler (* 7. April 1926 in Prague; † 20. November 2015 in Prague) was a tschechischer Mathematiker. He was 89 years old. His education included Charles University, Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Vančurovo reálné gymnázium. He worked at Charles University and Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. His awards include Czech Medal of Merit, Neuron Prize for Lifelong Contribution to Science and Hans Schneider Prize.
