Mirosław Hermaszewski (* 15. September 1941 in Lipniki, Wołyń Voivodeship; † 12. December 2022 in Warsaw) was a polish cosmonaut. He was 81 years old. His education included General Staff Academy, Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia and Polish Air Force University. He received 10 awards, including Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin. His cause of death was surgical complications. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
