Mitzi Myers (* 9. October 1939 in Sulphur Springs; † 5. November 2001 in Anaheim Hills) was an american scholar of children's literature. She was 62 years old. Her education included East Texas A&M University and Rice University. She worked at University of California, Los Angeles. She was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. Her cause of death was pneumonia.
