Mortimer M. Elkind (* 25. October 1922 in Brooklyn; † 10. December 2000) was an uS-amerikanischer Physiker und Strahlungsbiologe. He was 78 years old. His education included Cooper Union, Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked at Colorado State University, University of California, Berkeley, National Cancer Institute, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory and University of Chicago. He received 4 awards, including X-ray badge, Kettering Prize.
