
Sri Lankan stereochemist and crystallorgapher
Muttaiya Sundaralingam (* 21. September 1931 in Taiping; † 26. December 2004 in Trincomalee) was a sri Lankan stereochemist and crystallorgapher. He was 73 years old. His education included King Edward VII School, Kokuvil Hindu College, University of Ceylon and University of Pittsburgh. He worked at University of Wisconsin–Madison and Case Western Reserve University. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was drowning.
