Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Semjonow (* 3. April 1896 in Saratov; † 25. September 1986 in Moscow) was a russischer Physikochemiker und Nobelpreisträger für Chemie. He was 90 years old. He was married to Maria Liverovskaya. His education included Imperial St. Petersburg University and École réale de Samara. He worked at Tomsk State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Ioffe Institute, Semenov Institute of Chemical Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University, Znanie and Russian Academy of Sciences. He received 9 awards, including Stalin Prize, 2nd degree, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
