Biography of Nikolai Sergejewitsch Schatski

Nikolai Sergejewitsch Schatski (* 16. August 1895 in Moscow; † 1. August 1960 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Geologe. He was 64 years old. His education included Lomonosov Moscow State University and Moscow Mining Academy. He worked at Geological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Institute of Geological Sciences USSR Academy of Sciences. He received 5 awards, including Stalin Prize, 2nd degree, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Vvedenskoye Cemetery.
