Noguchi Hideyo (* 9. November 1876 in Inawashiro; † 21. May 1928 in Accra) was a japanischer Bakteriologe. He was 51 years old. He was married to Mary Loretta Dardis. He studied at Nippon Medical School. He worked at Kyoto University, University of Tokyo, Institute of Medical Science, University of Pennsylvania and The Rockefeller University. He received 10 awards, including Order of the Rising Sun, 2nd class, Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. His cause of death was yellow fever. He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery.
