Oliver E. Williamson (* 27. September 1932 in Superior; † 21. May 2020 in Berkeley) was an american economist. He was 87 years old. His education included MIT Sloan School of Management, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business and Superior High School. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, H. C. Recktenwald Prize in Economics. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
